MSJ produces higher coal output

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Mahakam Sumber Jaya (MSJ), a coal unit of IDX-listed coal mining firm PT Harum Energy produced 2.7 million tons of coal during first quarter 2013, increase from last year?s in the same period of 2.4 million tons, a company official told Petromindo.Com

As of April this year, MSJ has produced around 3.5 million tons of coal, the source said, adding that the figure is not final yet. MSJ is expecting to produce around 10-11 million tons of coal in this year, up from last year?s total output of 9.3 million tons.

MSJ is a third generation of coal contract of work. MSJ produces coal under brand name Tanito Coal which has calorific value of 5,750 kcal/kg (GAR).
