BPH Migas, the agency in charge of oil and gas downstream industry, will tender the special right to develop and operate a 220-km-long pipeline connecting West Java's towns of Muara Bekasi and Cirebon in next week.
?The tender will be officially announced between Nov. 26-30 this year,? BPH Migas's Chairman Tugabus Haryono said on Tuesday.
Participants can obtain tender document between Feb. 11-15, 2008 and the winner would be announced in July 2008, he said.
The pipeline will have a capacity of between 500- 700 million standard cubic feet of gas per day, he said.
BPH Migas initially planned to launch the tender in August this year. It has been delayed due to the absence of a "letter of consideration" from the Directorate General of Oil and Gas. According Tubagus, the agency has finally received an approval from the directorate to launch the tender. (godang)
