Muaraenim government to lease out ex-terminal as parking spot for coal trucks

The Muaraenim regency administration in South Sumatra plans to lease out the Muaraenim ex-bus terminal as parking area of coal trucks, local news portal Sripoku.com reported on Monday.

The news portal quoted Head of the local administration transportation office, Riswandar as saying that by leasing out the ex-terminal as parking spot of coal trucks it would help resolve lengthy traffic congestion problem as the trucks have been parking on the road side, which has long been complained by the public.

He added that the leasing out of the administration?s asset would provide extra income for the local government, and avoid the ex-terminal from becoming idle. (*)
