Murphy completes seismic survey

American firm Murphy Oil Corporation completed the 2D seismic survey on 503 km in Semai IV PSC in West Papua at the end of last year, according to upstream authority SKK Migas
At present, the firm is doing data interpretation and does not have drilling plan, Indro Purwaman Hardi, Exploration and Planning Division Head at SKK Migas said on Monday.
The Semai IV PSC covers an area of approximately 3,533 sq km offshore in West Papua province.
The block was awarded in November 2011. Murphy Semai IV Ltd., a subsidiary Murphy Oil Corporation is the block operator with 100 percent interest.
