Murphy pulls out of Indonesia

US firm Murphy Oil Corp. has officially pulled out of Indonesia, effective June 1, after years of investment in the country.
?This morning (Thursday), SKK Migas?s Chairman Amien Sunaryadi received a farewell visit by the PSC holder,? SKK Migas? chief spokesperson Elan Biantoro said on Thursday, adding that the firm plans to focus investment outside Indonesia.
The firm used to have interests in several blocks including Semai II PSC, Semai IV PSC and Wokam II PSC.
