Mutiara Merdeka conducts AMDAL activity

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Mutiara Merdeka Jaya is conducting study on environmental impact assessment or AMDAL to allow the company to exploit its mine in Loa Kulu and Loa Janan sub districts, Kutai Kartanegara regency.
The company has made an announcement regarding the AMDAL activity to the public through local newspaper.
The concession area is 1039 ha and is still in exploration stage. The mine has got clear and clear status from directorate general mineral and coal in 2011.
