Nangka#1 well in Palangkaraya spudded

The Nangka#1 well at Palangkaraya block in Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan, which is operated by Petcon Borneo Ltd. was spudded two weeks ago, according to an official of American firm ConocoPhillips Indonesia, a partner in the block.
"Currently, the drilling of the Nangka#1 well is in progress. We hope it will be completed in a few next weeks," Joang Laksanto, VP Development & Relations of ConocoPhillips Indonesia told Petromindo.com.
The Nangka#1 well is being drilled using a rig owned by IDX-listed PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk.
ConocoPhillips has a 49 percent interest in the block with operator Petcon holding the balance.
