NBC eyeing 2.4 million tons production in 2013

Indonesia coal mining company, PT Nusantara Berau Coal (NBC) is expecting to produce about 2.4 million tons of coal from its concession in Berau, East Kalimantan in 2013.
Liberty Simanjuntak, Corporate Secretary of Nusantara Berau Coal told Petromindo.com that the company's moderate target in 2013 is about 2.2 million tons.
"But we are optimistic to reach 2.4 million ton production in this year, as our production so far has fulfilled the target" he said adding that up to May 2013 the realization of company's production has reached about 1.3 million tons.
Liberty added that the coal produced is mostly absorbed by buyers from China and India.
