NCI produces 90kt of coal

Production rate at East Kalimantan coal miner PT Nuansacipta Coal (NCI), a coal unit of Bhakti Investama Group, has now increased to 90,000-100,000 tons per month of coal, from 50,000 tons per month last year, an industrial source told Petromindo.com

At present, the company still rent the jetty from PT Sungai Berlian Jaya (SBJ) to sell its coal, pending the completion of NCI?s own jetty, the source said.

Hauling distance from the mine to its own jetty will be around 9-10 km.

The company?s current products have 2 specs, 4800 kcal/kg (GAR) and 5000 kcal/kg (GAR).

NCI concession area covers 2,000 hectares with the estimated mineable reserves of 25 million tons.
