NELY expanding to CNG shipment business

IDX-listed PT Pelayaran Nelly Dwi Putri (NELY), company that operates in transportation of woods, plans to expand its business to CNG shipping industry by the end of the year.

President Director Tjahja Tjugiarto said on Monday that the firm is looking to procure two modified tankers to support the expansion.

"We are exploring the possibilities of procuring CNG tankers from producers in Japan, Korea and Hong Kong," Tjahja told Petromindo.com.

Tjahja did not mention the investment allocation nor the capacity of the ship, saying that calculations were still underway.
