New board of directors of PTBA to be appointed today

An extra-ordinary shareholders meeting will be held today (Wednesday) to appoint new members of the board of directors of state owned coal mining company PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam (PTBA) which has been vacant since early November.

"Several names have been nominated to fill in the vacant posts, " Said Didu, the secretary of the office of the state minister for state enterprises, said in Jakarta on Tuesday

The ministry has assigned the board of commissioners as the caretakers until the new members of the board of executives are appointed. (*)
