New deputies of SKK Migas to be installed today

Chairman of SKK Migas Rudi Rubiandini confirmed that new deputies of the agency will be officially installed today, in what is seen as part of a reorganization drive to help bolster efficiency at the oil and gas upstream authority since it was set up last month to assume the role of the now defunct BPMIGAS.
?God Willing, it will be held at 2 p.m. (today), but still waiting for certainty of the minister?s decree this morning,? Rudi told Petromindo.com Friday.
As reported on Wednesday by this portal, Rudi is putting some changes on the agency?s leadership structure as part of the efforts to reform the agency. Sources earlier said under the new structure, SKK Migas will have four deputies, namely planning deputy, operational control deputy, financial control deputy, general affairs deputy; and two unit heads equal to deputies, namely board of management secretary, better known in Indonesia as Sespim, and head of internal supervision unit, better known by the Indonesian acronym UPI (Unit Pengawasan Internal). At present, sespim and UPI head ranked lower than deputies.
The current position of legal evaluation and review deputy will be eliminated and its function and tasks will be put under the deputy of general affairs, according to the sources.
Meanwhile, a source told Petromindo.com Friday that Aussie Gautama (a former official at Total EP Indonesie) would be installed at the level of deputy in the new leadership structure, which would also include other SKK Migas officials such as Gde Pradnyana, Widiyawan Prawiraatmadja, Iwan Ratman, and Julius Wiratno.
The move to reorganize SKK Migas is in line with the Constitutional Court ruling and Presidential Regulation as well as guideline from Minister of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik to reform the upstream oil and gas regulator to make it more efficient.
