New DG to be installed Friday

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Darwin Saleh is scheduled to install Thamrin Sihite as new director general of mineral and coal on Friday.

Thamrin will replace Bambang Setiawan, who has retired since April 1, 2011, a government source said.

Thamrin has been appointed acting director general since Bambang retired. (godang)
