IPA groups together oil and gas producers in the country.
?IPA hopes that the situation will be quickly resolved to avoid any uncertainties and would like to reiterate that the industry will need immediate government directives and guidance to minimize the potential impacts to the oil and gas investment in the country,? it said in a release made available to petromindo.com on Wednesday.
Already several operators expressed confusion over the Court?s decision, in particular over uncertainties as to whom they have to report about their activities.
In the statement, IPA said that, as the partner of the government, it expressed supports and commitment to the government to ensure the continuity of operations in producing oil and gas and ensuring the ongoing revenues and energy supply for the country.
