New oil, gas contracts to be signed in February

The directorate said in a statement that on Monday the contractors on Monday reviewed the draft of the contracts, before finally signing them next month.
The production sharing contractors include PT Transri Madjid Energi (which has won tender to develop the on shore and off shore Bengara II working area in East Kalimantan); PT Equator Energy (off shore Seringapatan I working area in East Nusa Tenggara); consortium of Bukit Energy Palmerah Baru Pte, Ltd; New Zealand Oil and Gas Ltd, and PT SNP Indonesia (Palmerah Baru oil and gas working area on shore South Sumatra and Jambi); consortium of Krisenergy (Sakti) BV and Golden Heaven Jaya (Sakti wokring area off shore Central and East Java); Golden Code Commercial Ltd (North East Madura VI working area off shore East Java); Husky Energy International Corporation (Anugerah working area offshore East Java); and PT Innovare Gas (East Bontang working area on shore and offshore East Kalimantan).
The directorate said that the contractors plan to carry out G&G study with combined investment of US$5.83 million; 4,050 Km 2D seismic survey; 1,365 Km2 3D seismic suvey; and drilling of nine exploration wells.
Total exploration investment committment is $154.78 million, with signature bonus to be received by the government at $9 million, it added.
