New regulation for coal price for mine mouth soon finalized

The directorate general of mineral and coal (DGMC) of ministry of energy and mineral resources, currently is finalizing new regulation for coal price which is used for mine mouth power generation, a source from the directorate said.
?The regulation, which is supposed to be signed by Minister Jero Wacik this month, unfortunately shall be postponed due to several reasons?, the source added.
Currently coal purchase price mine mouth power plants follow the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Regulation Number 1348/2011 as benchmark in determining coal purchase price; the regulation allows coal suppliers to sell coal to the plants using coal benchmark price (HPB) scheme.
