New secretary general, mining director general installed

Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Jero Wacik installed on Friday several top leaders of the ministry, including secretary general and director general of mineral and coal.

Moch Teguh Pamudji was installed as Secretary General to replace Waryono Karno who will reach mandatory retirement age on Jan. 1, 2014. Previously, Teguh was Head of the ministry?s Education and Training Body (Badan diklat). Waryono is now being investigated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as a witness in the bribery scandal implicating suspended Chairman of SKK Migas Rudi Rubiandini.

R. Sukhyar was installed as Director General of Minerals and Coal to replace Thamrin Sihite who will also reach mandatory retirement age on Jan. 1, 2014. Previously, Sukhyar was Head of Geological Agency (Badan Geologi).

Besides, Jero installed several other officials into high ranked positions in the ministry. They are:
1. Parlaungan Simatupang as Head of Financial Bureau at Secretariat General. Previously, he was Head of General Affairs
2. Bambang Utoro as Head of General Affairs. Previously, he was Head of Cooperation Unit at the Bureau of Planning.
3. Sudjoko Harsono Adi as Inspector I. Previously, he was Inspector III at the ministry?s Inspectorate General.
4. Hedi Hidayat as Inspector II. Previously, he was Inspector IV at the Inspectorate General.
5. Winarno as Inspector III. Previously, he was Inspector II at the Inspectorate General.
6. Satry Nugraha as Inspector IV. Previously, he was as Inspector I at Badan Geologi.
7. Rudy Suhendar as Head of Land Water Resources and Environmental Geology Center at Badan Geologi. Previously, he was Head of Environmental Geology Unit of the Land Water Resources and Environmental Geology Center at Badan Geologi.
8. Zainal Arifin as Head of Oil and Gas Education and Training Center at the ministry?s Badan Diklat. Previously, he was Head of Finance Division Badan Diklat?s Secretariat.
