New Zealand Oil & Gas chairman steps down

ASX-listed New Zealand Oil & Gas Chairman announced Tuesday Chairman Peter Griffiths has stepped down from the company?s board for personal reasons, effective from today.

The company said in a statement that Rodger Finlay, an Akaroa-based professional director, will be the new Chairman. Finlay is an independent director who joined the board in 2012.

Griffiths joined the board of New Zealand Oil & Gas in December 2009. He was its longest-serving director. He was elected Chairman in late 2012.

New Zealand Oil & Gas has production interests in New Zealand, Indonesia and the United States.
