Newcrest reports Toguraci gold mine production

Australian miner Newcrest Mining Limited? s Indonesian gold production from its Toguraci mine in Halmahera reached 56,388 ounces of gold in April-June quarter, making the company?s total gold production from the mine 79,493 ounces. Toguraci started gold production early this year.
The company said during the quarter ore processed grade was 25.59 g/t. with cash cost of US$215 per ounce and total cost of $273 per ounce.
Newcrest said exploration works in Kencana and Kayu Manis prospects which are adjacent to Toguraci mine continued in search for additional high-grade mineralization.
Newcrest has 82.5 percent stake in Toguraci gold mine, with the remaining interest held by state miner PT. Aneka Tambang. (alex)
