Newmont Indonesia gets IT award

US IT firm Citrix Systems, Inc. on Wednesday announced that Newmont Indonesia, a subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation, has been conferred CIO Award by CIO Asia, a publication by IDG Communications.
This award was given in recognition of Newmont Indonesia's remarkable business transformation following its implementation of Citrix access infrastructure.
Into its fourth year, the CIO Awards is an annual program organized by CIO Asia that recognizes Asian-based companies using technology to add value to their business, and leading the way through best practices and innovation. Of the 100 companies short-listed for consideration, only five organizations are selected to receive the CIO Awards.(alex)
