Newmont signed 2nd amendment to divest 7% shares

The amendment was signed in Jakarta by Chairman of PIP Soritaon Siregar, Nusa Tenggara Partnership B.V. representatives Blake Rhodes and Toru Tokushima.
Stated that the second amendment was signed due to failure of meeting all the required conditions stated within the first purchase amendment, signed on November 3, 2011.
"The second amendment is intended to provide extension of time until August 6, 2012, so that the required purchase conditions can be met accordingly," said in the press statement
The Government's Investment Center was formed by the Ministry of Finance through the release of Finance Ministerial Decree 1005/KMK.05/2006 on December 2006 regarding the Establishment of Government Investment Agency of the Ministry of Finance as Government Body that decides the pattern of Public Service Agencies' financial management.
PIP's investment scopes cover long term investments, such as share and bonds purchase, as well as direct investments, such as capital injection and loan providing.
