Nexen still looking for rig for Seram exploration

Canadian oil and gas company Nexen Inc, which is fomerly known as Canadian Oxy, said Friday it was still looking for rigs for its exploration activities in the Seram production sharing contract (PSC) in Maluku.
The company said its second quarterly report that it was still experiencing delays in the drilling of its offshore Seram prospect due to rig availabilty.
Similar complaint was also mentioned by the company in its previous quarterly report.
"We are currently investigating the availability of other rigs and still expect to drill an exploration welll on Seram by year-end," the company said in the second quarterly report.
Nexen, which is the operator of the Seram PSC, earlier said its exploration activities in Indonesia was not successful last year (Bodega)
