NHM expecting 700,000 ounces gold from Toguraci

Gold miner, PT Nusa Halmahera Minerals (PT NHM), a subsidiary of Australia-listed company Newcrest Mining Limited expects to produce 700,000 ounces within two years from its Toguraci underground gold mine in Halmahera, North Maluku.
Iwan Irawan, President Director PT NHM told Petromindo.com that the company has started its production from Toguraci mine. Iwan, however did not disclose the amount.
"Toguraci has been producing the gold but its still on trial and commissioning stage. We expect the full scale production to commence in July or August," Iwan said adding that currently the company is still focusing its main production from the Gosowong and Kencana open pit mining.
