Niaga Sapta adds barges to its fleet

Local shipping firm PT Niaga Sapta Samudra has bought three sets of barges with capacity of 13,500 tonnes to its fleet, Bisnis Indonesia reported quoting President Director Lolok Sudjatmiko.
The barges will support the company?s operations to transport coal to a number of power plants owned by state electricity firm PT PLN (Persero), the report said.
With addition of the three barges, the company is now operating 11 sets of barges. (*)
