Nickel, copper, tin exports down in January

The export value of nickel in January was down by 9.68 percent to US$87,040,013 on monthly basis and its export volume decreased by 16.12 percent to 7,888,692 kg in January compared to that at December, according to data from the bureau of statistics.

Copper export also decreased by 5.49 percent to US$156,779,984 in January and the volume decreased by 5.84 percent to 20,204,192 kg.

The data also said that export of tin in January was also down by 21.44 percent to US$144,507,092 on monthly basis with volume decreased by 35.21 percent to 6,213,753 kg compared to that in the previous month.
