Nickel, tin exports up, copper down

The export value of nickel in August was up by 16.31 percent to US$74,655,205 on monthly basis, as the export volume of the commodity increased by 23.17 percent to 8,601,333 kg in the month, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) revealed on Tuesday.

The export of tin in August rose by 12.61 percent to $142,112,432 on monthly basis with volume also up by 2.49 percent to 6,668,658 kg compared to that in the previous month.

But copper export was down by 14.63 percent to $128,305,508 in August and the export volume also decreased by 17.53 percent to 18,306,830 kg.
