Niko Resources plans 2D seismic survey sat OBI block this year

Canadian oil and gas firm Niko Resources Ltd plans to carry out 2D seismic survey along 1,175 km at the OBI block this year, according to Nugrahani, Head of Exploration Division at upstream oil and gas authority SKK Migas.
The OBI PSC (8,057 sq km) lies in eastern Indonesia, south of Halmahera Island. The PSC was awarded to a consortium consisting of subsidiaries of Niko, Statoil and Manley N.V. Niko is the perator of the Obi PSC, which is located near the Niko operated Kofiau and Halmahera-Kofiau PSCs.
