Canadian oil and gas firm Niko Resources Ltd is in the process of farming out interest in a number of deep sea exploration blocks that are 100 percent owned by the company.

Public Relation Manager at Niko Resources Zizy Shobirin told Petromindo.com that the percentage of interest it planned to farm out is generally at 20-30 percent. ?We have opened data room for the blocks,? she said.

The blocks planned to be farmed out include the SE Ganal I PSC, the South Matindok PSC, the Kofiau PSC, the Sunda Strait I PSC, the SE Seram PSC, the West Sageri PSC, and the Semai V (which was recently acquired from US-based Hess Corporation), according to Zizy.

The company has interests in PSCs for 19 offshore Indonesian blocks.
