Nine projects to boost national oil, gas output: BPMIGAS

Indonesia will see its oil and gas output to rise significantly from next year through 2015 thanks to the start of production of several projects now under construction, upstream authority BPMIGAS said.
BPMIGAS? Evaluation and Development Division Head Ira Miriawati told Petromindo.com that the country will get additional output amounting to 185,000 bopd of oil and 1960 mmscfd of gas throughout the period of 2013-2015.
The nine projects are Donggi Senoro, Peciko, Banyu Urip, Ande-Ande Lumut, Madura BD+MDA+MBH, Indonesia Deep Water Development (IDD), Jangkrik, Kepodang.
She also said three companies, namely Chevron Pacific Indonesia, PT Medco Energi Internasional and PT Pertamina, will launch this year EOR programs on Minas, Kaji and Tanjung fields respectively. The EOR program will start bringing additional output around 2021-2022 ?with peak output (projected) to be reached within 5-10 years,? she said.
