Upstream authority SKK Migas is waiting for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources to decide on the tender of the government?s share of condensate.

SKK Migas? Deputy of Commerce Widyawan Prawiraatmadja said SKK Migas has thus received instruction to supply the condensate from Senipah terminal operated by Total E&P Indonesie in East Kalimantan to petrochemical firm PT Trans Pacific Petrochemical Indonesia in Tuban, East Java.

The government has yet to issue instruction regarding its share of condensate production from other areas such as Tangguh in Papua.

?Normally, we hold tenders on the condensate every three months. Now, there isn?t yet any instruction from the government,? he said.

According to sources, the government suspended all tenders of government-owned condensate following the arrest of former SKK Migas?s chairman Rudi Rubiandini who was accused to meddling with the tender process in favor of companies which provided him bribes.
