No change on mining export policy

Industry Minister MS Hidayat said that it would not make any change on export ban policy on 65 raw mining products despite the Supreme Court (MA) ruling that scrapped the policy.

Hidayat told Petromindo.com that the export policy would remain in place, but the procedure would be changed.

"The changes is only on the procedure (to issue it), he said.

The court ruling says the right to issue the policy belongS to Trade Ministry rather than Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry.
