No increase in fuel prices for January

State owned oil and gas company Pertamina maintained the retail prices of Premium fuel, diesel oil, kerosene and other fuel products for January thanks to more stable oil prices in the world's market, Investor Daily reported on Tuesday.

Pertamina announced on Monday that the prices of most of the fuels sold through the company for January were relatively the same with the prices set for December. In January, the price of Premium fuel is Rp 1,810 per litter and diesel oil Rp 1,650 per litter.

The price of kerosene for industrial use is Rp 1,800 per litter. But those sold to households, and small-scale companies remain at Rp 700 per letter in accordance with the government's subsidy program.

Pertamina also maintained the prices of its high-octane fuel Pertamax and Pertamax Plus at Rp 4,000 and Rp 4,200 per litter, respectively, for January. (*)
