No new policy on coal this year: Hatta

Coordinating Minister for Economy Hatta Rajasa asserted that the government would not issue new policy to control export of coal this year

"There will be no new policy (this year), such as export ban on coal," he said.

Indonesia is home to the world's largest exporter of thermal coal.

Hatta said that the government is currently focusing on implementing export policy of 65 unprocessed mining products which does not include coal.
