Noble now Indonesia?s 4th largest coal exporter

Singapore-listed global supply chain firm Noble Group believes it is now Indonesia?s fourth largest coal exporter.
The company said in its first half presentation released Tuesday that the status was achieved after it had acquired its second Indonesian coal mining operations.
The company did not give any detail.
?In just a few years, Noble has gone from dealing with 500,000 tonnes of coal from Indonesia to 12 millions tonnes annually, becoming one of the world?s largest suppliers of thermal coal. 15 million is expected in 2007,? the company said in its website. (alex)
