Norshore wins P&A contract in RI

Norway?s drilling contractor Norshore said that it has signed a contract with an oil major for the use of Norshore Atlantic multipurpose drilling vessel for plug and abandonment of three wells in Indonesia.

?Norshore Atlantic is presently in Singapore installing a 18-3/4" BOP and riser system which will be used for the upcoming work. The work is expected to start mid October 2015,? Norshore said in a statement Tuesday, but did not provide further details including the name of the oil major.
