North Belut starts oil, gas production

US oil, gas firm ConocoPhillips has started oil, gas production from its North Belut field in Natuna Sea Block B on November 16, a senior official with upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS said on Wednesday.
Deputy Chairman Budi Indianto told Petromindo.com that currently the field produces 90MMCFD of gas and 2,700 BPD of condensate.
He did not give detail about the field?s production profile.
The North Belut field is located in Block B of the Indonesian sector of the Natuna Sea, approximately 60 kilometers east-northeast of the Belanak FPSO installed in the Belanak Field.
ConocoPhillips is the operator of the Block B contract area, with 40 percent interest. Partners include INPEX Natuna Ltd (35 percent) and Chevron (25 percent). (godang)
