NorthernStar eyeing Java LNG terminals development

US LNG receiving terminal operator NorthernStar Natural Gas is interested to develop LNG receiving terminals in East Java and West Java provinces, a government official said on Thursday as quoted by media.
President?s Special Envoy to Middle East Alwi Shihab said that the company?s President Paul F. Soanes expressed interest to build the LNG terminals duding a meeting with Vice President Jusuf Kalla in Jakarta on Wednesday.
According to Shihab, Soanes will meet with state gas distribution firm PGN, upstream oil, gas authority BPMIGAS and Investment Coordinating Body (BKPM) on Thursday.(*)
