Northstar to acquire E. Kalimantan coal miner

Northstar Pacific partners, an investment merchant controlled by businessman Patrick Waluyo is close to seal deal to acquire East Kalimantan coal miner PT.Interex Sacra, an industrail source said.
The source did not disclose the value of the deal but said that the deal would be closed ?soon?.
Interex operates a coal mine in Pasir regency with mineable reserves of 50 million tonnes. The company is planning to produce 1 million tonnes of coal this year. (godang)
