Novus spends A$13.15 million for Q3 2002

Australian oil and gas firm Novus Petroleum Limited said during the June-September quarter 2002 it had spent some A$13.15 million (A$=US$0.5553) for its exploration, development, and production cost in Indonesia.

Novus said in the quarter its oil production had reached approximately 489,000 barrels (Novus net) or stable compared to 484,000 barrels in the previous quarter.

The company also said total gas production in the quarter had reached 2,065 million cubic feet (MMSCF) (Novus net) or down compared to 2,253 MMSCF in previous quarter.

Novus? sales in the third quarter totaled 259,000 barrels, while gas sales 1,993 MMSCF or down compared to 2,318 MMSCF in previous quarter.

Novus has working interest in Brantas PSC (50 percent), Kakap PSC (25 percent), Lematang PSC (15 percent), and Malacca Strait PSC (26.03 percent). (robert)
