NR renews lease of Pertamina?s gas pipeline

PT Nusantara Regas (NR) has recently renewed the lease of gas pipeline operated by PT PHE ONWJ, an indirect subsidiary of state-owned oil and gas firm PT Pertamina, for the period of 2017-2022.

NR, a joint venture between Pertamina and IDX-listed gas distribution firm PT PGN Tbk, operates a floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) at the port of Tanjung Priok in Jakarta, and supplies gas to state-owned electricity firm PT PLN.

Pertamina said in a statement Tuesday that the Muara Karang-Tanjung Priok pipeline will transmit gas at an average volume of 105 mmscfd in 2017-2019, and at an average volume of 53 mmscfd in 2020-2022, or equal to 29 cargoes of LNG, or 1.7 million tons.
