NTB fighting for royalties

Speaker of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) legislative council HL Serinate said on Saturday that some councilors would visit several ministries in Jakarta to fight for the province?s rights, Antara News Agency reported on Monday.
?It often happens that the province receives what is due very late,? Serinate said, citing as an example the royalties from PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara, Batu Hijau, Sumbawa.
He said that the province received the 2000 royalties from Newmont only this year. ?We have not yet received the 2001 royalties.?
According to Serinate, the 2000 royalties should have been paid in 2000, while the 2001 royalties should have been paid in 2001. (*)
