Nu Energy submits pre-PoD for Muara Enim CBM block

Nu Energy Indonesia, a subsidiary of ASX-listed Nu Energy Gas Limited, has submitted a pre-Plan of Development (PoD) for the Muara Enim coal bed methane (CBM) block in South Sumatra.

The firm expected the pre-PoD to be approved by the government before the end of this year, NU Energy Gas Indonesia Country Manager Yales Vivadinar said on Wednesday.

The firm needs the pre-PoD to be approved so that it can enter commercial phase and carry out the first delivery of compressed natural gas to Singapore.

Yales said NuEnergy is scheduled to drill one well, that is Muara Enim CB-04P well in early October and preparation for the drilling was now in progress. The firm targets to drill ?a total depth of between 850 and 1000 meters?.
