Nuansacipta inaugurates E. Kalimantan coal port

East Kalimantan coal miner PT Nuansacipta Coal Investment (NCI), a unit of the well-diversified MNC Group, inaugurated on Wednesday the operation of its coal port in Samarinda.

MNC Group CEO Hary Tanoesoedibyo led the inauguration ceremony of the coal port, which as a ship loading capacity of 100,000 tons per month, located on a 35,000 hectares area in Bantuas Village, Palaran District, Samarinda.

Hary said that the coal port?s capacity will be eventually increased to 250,000 tons per month.

NCI operates a 2,000-ha coal concession in the province, with estimated mineable reserves of 25 million tons. (*)
