NuEnergy awaits productivity report in Muara Enim

Australia-listed firm NuEnergy will be trying to prove the permeability and productivity of the Suban and Mangus coal seams in both Muara Enim PSC and Muara Enim II PSC where the total net coal seams are up to 88 meter 288 feet thick.

A pilot production project is currently underway in Muara Enim PSC. During the next quarter, Netherland Sewell and Associates Incorporated will report their assessment of the gas resources in Muara Enim PSC together with Muara Enim II and Rengat PSC?s.

NuEnergy holds a 40 percent interest and is operator of Muara Enim PSC through its subsidiary company PT Trisulsa CBM Energi.

Muara Enim II PSC, which is also located in the South Sumatra Coal Basin, is operated by NuEnergy and covers an area of 1170.9 km2. A Geological & Geophysical study is currently being undertaken for Muara Enim II PSC.
