NuEnergy commences hydraulic fracturing at Muara Enim PSC

ASX-listed firm NuEnergy Gas Limited announced on Wednesday that it has commenced hydraulic fracturing using radial jetting techniques at its Muara Enim PSC pilot production site in Sumatra.
The program commenced on April 29 and will fracture five new untested seams covering 29 meters of coal thickness, it said in a latest update report.
This program represents another step in advancing Muara Enim towards first gas sales by December 31, 2013.
NuEnergy will also shortly commence initial exploration activities at its 346 km2 CBM and shale gas EPL in Malawi , with airborne Geological & Geophysical works being undertaken in May.
