NuEnergy names new director, executive director

ASX-listed NuEnergy Gas Limited announces Wednesday the appointment of Chen Heng Mun as Non-Executive Director of the company.

Chen Heng Mun is an Executive Director and Group Finance Director of Globaltec Formation Berhad (an indirect substantial shareholder of NuEnergy through its subsidiaries New Century Energy Resources Limited and Globaltec Energy Resources Sdn Bhd).

Chen Heng Mun has twenty four years of corporate and financial management experience across Asia.

He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Certified Public Accountants, Australia.

NuEnergy also named Kee Yong Wah as Executive Director of the company. Kee was appointed as non-executive director of NuEnergy effective from 24 August 2014.

Due to his increased involvement with the implementation of the company?s strategy, the board has resolved that Kee will re-designate to an Executive Director of the company effective from 1 January 2015. Kee?s place of employment will be in Jakarta.

NuEnergy has three Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) in South and Central Sumatra, Indonesia, covering 4,819 square kilometers. The company is the operator of all three, as follows: Muara Enim (40% participating share); Muara Enim 2 (30% participating share); Rengat (100% participating share).
