Nusantara Berau Coal on track to achieve output target

Coal mining company PT Nusantara Berau Coal, a subsidiary of PT Ithaca Resources, is on track to achieve its 2013 coal production target of 2.4 million tons.
Liberty Simanjuntak, Corporate Secretary of Ithaca Resources told Petromindo.com on Thursday that the company has already produced 1.8 million tons from its concession in Berau, East Kalimantan.
"Up to the third quarter, our output (performance) is still on track, so we are optimistic for achieving 2.4 million tons by the year's end," he said, adding that the company is still searching for new concession to be acquired.
Most of the company?s coal output are exported to buyers in China and India.
