Nusantara Regas has received 6 LNG cargoes from Mahakam

PT Nusantara Regas (NR) said that so far its floating storage and re-gasification unit (FSRU) in Jakarta bay has handled six cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Mahakam Block owned by Total E&P Indonesia in East Kalimantan.

"It?s been six cargoes. Praise God, there has been no problem with payments. Average use is 160 mmscfd,? PT NR Administration and Finance Director Soetikno told Petromindo.com in Jakarta on Monday.

He said that from the FSRU, state utility PT PLN had absorbed 160 mmscfd for its PLTG Tanjung Priok and Muara Karang.

According to him, his company is still waiting for a certainty of additional LNG supply from Tangguh LNG plant owned by BP Indonesia in West Papua. ?We haven?t yet got any stated commitment from Tangguh regarding the LNG supply,? he said.
