PT Nusantara Regas, owner of West Java FSRU stationed at the Jakarta bay, is ready to supply LNG to another PT Pertamina subsidiary, PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), for the latter?s LNG-for-vehicle program.
Pertagas plans to carry out the program?s pilot project under which it will try to fuel 4 units of heavy vehicle belonging to PT Indo Minco, a unit of miner PT Indo Tambang Megaraya (ITM) in East Kalimantan, with LNG.
Negotiations between Nusantara and Pertagas are underway.
?Nusantara is ready in principle. However, an agreement on the LNG diversion for Pertagas must be reached first as our deal with Bontang LNG plant stipulates that delivery point must be at the FSRU at the Jakarta bay,? Nusantara President Director Hendra Jaya told petromindo.com.
The LNG volume needed for the vehicles is not immediately available.
Separately, Pertagas President Director Gunung Sardjono said that its discussion with Indo Minco is nearing completion.
?The target to sign the HoA with Indo Minco is early November. Negotiations with Nusantara are also in place,? he told petromindo.com.
