Nusantara Regas seeks extra LNG from three PSCs

PT Nusantara Regas is seeking the possibility of obtaining additional LNG from three gas fields including the Tangguh field in Papua operated by BP Indonesia, Chevron?s Indonesia Deepwater Development (IDD) project in East Kalimantan, and a field operated by ENI Spa.
The extra LNG will be supplied to the company?s new floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) in Jakarta, said Nusantara Regas President Director Hendra Jaya.
The company has earlier obtained 16 cargoes of LNG contract from the Mahakam block operated by Total EP Indonesie in East Kalimantan.
?We have started delivering gas to (state-owned electricity company) PLN since May 24, and now has reached three cargoes. God Willing, we?re entering the fourth cargo. This year, there will be a total of 16 cargoes. Where will we get the additional gas? We?re looking into (the possibility of getting LNG from) BP, ENI, and Chevron,? Hendra told Petromindo.com on Thursday, without providing further details.
